Who am I?

My name is Johnathan Tucker Livingston Bullier. To most people, I go by either John or J.T..

I am real-estate broker, developer, and consultant based in Portland, Oregon.

I got my real estate brokers license in 2015 at the age of 23. Less than 12 months later I bought my first house. By 30 I had personally bought and sold 15 properties. Real estate is the only career I have known and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the only one I ever do. You could say it runs in my family.

In 1928 my great-grandfather co-founded a Portland commercial real estate brokerage with his brother called Bullier & Bullier. My Grandfather operated Bullier & Bullier until 1996 when the brokerage was acquired by Colliers International, 4 years after I was born.

After the acquisition my family gradually phased out of real estate, so it wasn’t something I necessarily grew up around. I hardly thought it is where I would start my career until my senior year of high school. Until then, I had my heart set of working in environmental conservation and renewable energy development. During my senior year of highschool however I was introduced to a Portland based real estate developer and the more I got to know him the more interested in real estate I became.

Writing this now, I suppose there is something inside my disposition that draws me to real estate. I’m not sure what it is exactly, but I know that I love it.

And I hope that I’m able to share that love with you at some point in the future as well.
